Strong digital infrastructure needed to keep justice running in crises: Chief Justice Sharma

Chief Justice Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma said robust digital infrastructure is essential for the judiciary to keep functioning even during crises.
Addressing a regional forum on internet governance held in Kathmandu on Monday, he stressed the need to make the modern justice system, based on information technology, more secure, reliable and inclusive.
Chief Justice Sharma said "internet resilience" is essential to ensure access to and security of the judiciary in the digital age. He said digital infrastructure must be strengthened so that the administration of justice does not stop during crises.
The regional forum, which focused on internet governance, was organised in Kathmandu.
