Floods, landslides block roads in Rasuwa, Manang, Myagdi, Humla and Lalitpur

Highways and road sections in various parts of the country have been blocked due to floods, landslides and road cutting. Road sections at nine locations in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces have reportedly been blocked.

According to police, various road sections in Rasuwa, Manang, Myagdi, Humla and Lalitpur are completely blocked. Police said traffic is moving through alternative routes on some road sections.

Along the Kantilok Path connecting Kathmandu Valley, a landslide at Takurche in Bagmati Rural Municipality-3, Lalitpur, has blocked the road.

Road transport has been affected in various districts due to floods and landslides following recent rains.
