13 killed in Baglung floods and landslides; Rs 500 million in damage to main roads alone

Floods and landslides have caused heavy loss of life and property in Baglung. Thirteen people have died in the district due to the disasters.
The floods and landslides have caused major damage to the district's road infrastructure. The Road Division Office has said that damage to the main roads alone amounts to Rs 500 million.
Reconstruction of Baglung's roads, which have been battered by the floods and landslides, is estimated to cost more than Rs 1 billion.
The latest monsoon-related disasters have affected road traffic and infrastructure in Baglung as well as in various other districts across the country.
