Deepak Bhatt transferred from Nakhu prison after contact with man linked to ex-CJ Jabara

Deepak Bhatt, who is in custody pending trial in a money laundering case, has been transferred to another prison. He was sent on Saturday evening from Nakhu Prison in Lalitpur to the Prison Office in Sindhupalchok.

The transfer followed the discovery of contact between Bhatt and Inam Sapkota, who has a 'connection' with former Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Jabara.

Bhatt remains in custody pending trial in the money laundering case, as ordered by the court.
