Triangular T20 series begins in Pokhara, Gandaki beats Bhutan by 8 wickets

A friendly T20 cricket series among Bhutan's national cricket team, which is on a visit to Nepal, the Gandaki Provincial Cricket Team, and CAN-11 began in Pokhara on Tuesday. Gandaki won the series' opening match.

In the match held at the cricket ground of Pokhara Rangasala, Gandaki defeated Bhutan's national men's team by 8 wickets. Gandaki chased down Bhutan's target of 97 runs in 11 overs.

Bhutan's team has come to Pokhara for practice matches ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier 'A'. Teams from Bhutan, Gandaki, and CAN-11 are taking part in the series.
