Benighat-Tatopani road reopens after Budhigandaki flood blockage

The stretch of the Benighat-Aarughat-Larkebhanjyang road from Benighat to Tatopani, which had been blocked due to flooding in the Budhigandaki river, has been reopened.
Infrastructure Development Minister Lamsal informed that the work to reopen the road section had been completed.
The road reopened after the removal of rocks, soil and debris deposited by the flood in Tatopani and surrounding areas. Traffic movement on this road section had been obstructed due to the flood.
With the road now open, vehicle movement on the Benighat-to-Tatopani stretch has become possible again.
