Government recommends ending current federal parliament session from Asoj 16

The government has recommended to President Ramchandra Paudel that the current session of the federal parliament be ended.

The Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to recommend to the President that the session be ended from Friday, Asoj 16, which falls on October 2 according to the English calendar.

Once the President declares the end of the session as per the government's recommendation, the current sessions of both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly will come to a close.

According to the constitution, the President summons and ends sessions of parliament on the recommendation of the Cabinet. With the recommendation to end the session, parliament's current sittings are now expected to be held only until Friday.
