Nepal Police to run free buses on three Kathmandu Valley routes during Dashain on Kartik 3 and 4

Nepal Police has run free buses on three routes in Kathmandu Valley to make travel easier for commuters during Dashain. The service will run on Kartik 3 and 4.

With public transport reduced during Dashain, the free bus service is expected to make travel easier for commuters who would otherwise find it difficult to get around.

As large numbers of people have left for their home villages to celebrate Dashain, fewer vehicles have been running on Valley roads. The service is therefore expected to be useful for those who have stayed in the Valley and need to visit relatives to receive tika.
