Western Regional Hospital opens new 25-bed intensive care unit

Western Regional Hospital, run under the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, has brought a new 25-bed intensive care unit (ICU) into operation. With this unit, Gandaki Province has gained 25 additional beds for intensive care.

With the new unit now operational, the number of beds available for intensive care at the hospital has increased. Western Regional Hospital functions under the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences.

Patients in critical condition are treated in the intensive care unit. With the additional beds now in operation, access to intensive care at the hospital is expected to improve.
