Voter roll update: 2,602 names removed in Kavre

The District Election Office, Kavrepalanchok, has updated the voter roll. In the process, 2,602 voters' names have been removed from the roll in the district.

According to the office, 1,198 of those removed were voters with duplicate registrations. The office also said the names of deceased voters have been removed from the roll.

With the removal of these names, the number of voters in Kavre has decreased by about 2,600.
