Kaligandaki corridor reopens after landslide blockage

The Kaligandaki corridor, which had been blocked due to rain, has reopened. The corridor reopened after the landslide debris on the road was cleared.
The road had been blocked after landslides occurred at various locations in the Harmichaur-Arbeni-Purtighat section under the Gulmi area of the Kaligandaki corridor.
Recent rain, floods and landslides have affected various highways and road sections across the country. Traffic has started to resume on some of the previously blocked road sections.
