Energy Minister Shrestha inspects Hetauda–Dhalkebar 400 kV transmission line

Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Virajbhakta Shrestha has inspected the Hetauda–Dhalkebar 400 kV substation. According to the minister's private secretariat, he received information on the work on two multi-circuit towers being built at the substation for the Hetauda–Dhalkebar 400 kV transmission line.

Minister Shrestha described the transmission line as the backbone of the country's energy system and stressed the need to complete the tower work on time.

Construction of the transmission line began about 12 years ago, but work was stalled for various reasons.
