Baglung landslide death toll rises to 13 as missing woman's body found

The death toll from landslides triggered by incessant rainfall in Baglung from Asoj 9 to 11 has reached 13.
The toll rose to 13 after the body of a woman from Tamankhola Rural Municipality-4, who had gone missing in a landslide on Asoj 11, was found.
Earlier, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority had said that 27 people had died across the country due to incessant rainfall from Asoj 9 to 12. According to the authority, 12 of those deaths occurred in Baglung alone.
The authority also said the rains damaged 10 bridges nationwide. The landslide death toll in Baglung rose to 13 after the missing woman's body was found.
