Congress president Thapa unopposed from Kathmandu-4, Bishwa Prakash wins from Jhapa-1

Nepali Congress president Gagan Kumar Thapa has been chosen unopposed as convention representative from Kathmandu constituency No. 4 for the party's 15th general convention.

Similarly, Congress vice-president Bishwa Prakash Sharma has been elected convention representative from Jhapa constituency No. 1 after winning the election. He was elected from that constituency with the highest number of votes.

Likewise, party general secretary Pradip Poudel has been chosen unopposed as convention representative from Kathmandu constituency No. 5.

As part of the party's 15th general convention, the process of regional conventions and selection of convention representatives is underway across the country.
