Floods devastate Setibeni, confluence of Parbat, Syangja and Gulmi, causing losses worth crores

Setibeni, the confluence of Parbat, Syangja and Gulmi districts, has been left desolate by floods. The flood has caused losses worth crores of rupees there.
Although they had received forecasts of continuous rain from Asoj 8, locals considered the rising water in the Kali Gandaki and Seti rivers to be an ordinary flood, as in the past. But the flood has left the Setibeni area desolate.
Describing the situation after the flood, a local said, "Looking at the area as it was in the afternoon of Asoj 10 and its condition now, it feels like a dream. It is hard to believe how this could have happened."
Setibeni is a three-district junction located at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Seti rivers.
