One from Mugu dies, nine go missing while collecting herbs in Humla

One person from Mugu has died and nine others have gone missing while collecting the medicinal herb kutki at Bagedhunga community forest in Chankheli Rural Municipality-2 of Humla.

Those who died and went missing are locals of Papu and Chhayal in Mugum Karmarong Rural Municipality-9 of Mugu.

According to Mugu Chief District Officer Poshanraj Bhandari, 22-year-old Ganesh Budha of Mugum Karmarong-9 died of altitude sickness.

Of the nine who went missing, three have since been contacted.
