Baglung floods and landslides sweep away 61 houses and sheds, damage 51 others

Continuous rainfall in Baglung from Asoj 9 to 11 triggered floods and landslides that swept away 61 houses and cattle sheds. According to data from the District Administration Office, 51 houses in the district suffered partial damage.

The Nisikhola and Tamankhola areas of the district were the worst affected by three consecutive days of rainfall. The floods and landslides caused extensive damage to houses and sheds in these areas.

Nepal Press has reported that 12 people have died in the district due to the floods and landslides.
