Corruption case filed against Kageshwori Manohara engineer, two others

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against three people, including engineer Deepa Karki, who works at Kageshwori Manohara Municipality in Kathmandu.
The commission filed the case at the Special Court on Friday against engineer Karki and two other middlemen. They are accused of taking bribes to approve work, including the structural analysis of house construction.
Engineer Karki had earlier been caught accepting a bribe. After investigation, the commission filed the case at the Special Court, naming her and two middlemen as defendants.
