Nepali Congress spokesperson Devraj Chalise announces bid for vice president

Nepali Congress spokesperson Devraj Chalise has announced that he will run for vice president at the party's 15th General Convention.
Chalise made the announcement on Monday during a conversation with journalists at Khula Manch in Kathmandu, where the convention is under way.
Chalise said that he was a candidate for joint general secretary at the 14th General Convention and that, since he has taken on the role of party spokesperson after the special convention, he would now run for vice president. He has been carrying out the spokesperson's responsibilities since the special convention.
The Congress's 15th General Convention began in Kathmandu on Sunday, and candidacies for various posts are being announced.
