RSP delegation to visit China led by general secretary Acharya

A delegation of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) led by general secretary Bipin Acharya is set to visit China.

Spokesperson Jagadish Kharel said the visit is on the invitation of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The visit was discussed at Saturday's secretariat meeting held at the party's central office.

According to spokesperson Kharel, some members will accompany the general secretary on the team, though he did not disclose the dates of the visit.

At the same meeting, a task force led by deputy general secretary Hari Dhakal presented a report on the Madhes audit.

The report covers organisational problems seen in Madhes province and some districts, and places where conventions have not yet been held.

The meeting decided that the party would take its next steps based on the report after studying it.
