Furkekhola alternative road to be closed today from 10 am to 3 pm

The Furkekhola alternative road in Gajuri Rural Municipality-2 of Dhading, under the Prithvi Highway, will be closed for five hours today. The closure is for road maintenance work.

According to the District Administration Office, Dhading, all types of vehicles will not be allowed to ply on the Parewatar–Pipaltar–Adamtar–Belintar–Mastar road section from 10 am to 3 pm today.

Floods on Bhadau 10 had swept away the concrete bridge at Furkekhola. This alternative road has been in use since then.

The road connects Dhadingbesi, the district headquarters of Dhading, with the Prithvi Highway. Travelers on this stretch of the Kathmandu–Mugling road section have been asked to keep the designated closure time in mind.
