Floods, landslides block Pasang Lhamu Highway, Bensisahar–Khangsar and Beni–Jomsom roads

Floods and landslides have fully or partially blocked major highways and road sections in various parts of the country.

According to details released by Nepal Police, the main road sections in Rasuwa, Manang and Myagdi are completely blocked. The Pasang Lhamu Highway in Rasuwa, the Bensisahar–Khangsar road that connects Manang, and the Beni–Jomsom road in Myagdi are blocked.

Landslides at various places have completely closed roads, while on some road sections, vehicles are running in only one direction, police said.

Police are releasing updated information on road conditions and urge people to check the situation before travelling to places where roads are blocked.
