Investment Board calls allegations of taking gifts from contractor misleading

The Investment Board's office has said the claims circulating that its staff took gifts from a contractor are misleading and baseless.
The office made its position public through a press release issued on Friday regarding the reports spreading about an incident on Asoj 29. The Board issued the clarification after allegations surfaced publicly that staff had accepted gifts, including liquor, an iPhone, and sweets, from a contractor.
In the release, the office made clear that giving or receiving such gifts is not acceptable. The Board claims that the reports alleging its staff took gifts are not based on facts.
Khabarhub, Rajdhani, and Ratopati have published news on this. The source reports do not mention whether any investigation into the allegations is underway.
