Koshi Provincial Public Service Commission chairman Guragain's resignation accepted

Mahendra Prasad Guragain has resigned as chairman of the Koshi Provincial Public Service Commission.

He submitted his resignation to Province Chief Parashuram Khapung. The Office of the Province Chief said his resignation has been accepted, effective from Kartik 16.

Chairman Guragain had faced serious allegations of various financial and official irregularities and conflict of interest. He ultimately stepped down while facing these allegations.

Following his resignation, the post of chairman of the Koshi Provincial Public Service Commission will fall vacant.
