Sequel to 'Wool Sweater' begins filming in Sikkim

Filming of 'Kaleji–Wool Sweater,' the sequel to the Nepali film 'Wool Sweater,' has begun from the Yumthang Valley in Sikkim, India.
According to director Naveen Chauhan, scenes featuring Indian actors Piyush Mishra and Alex Paras were shot on the first day, Monday. Piyush Mishra is known not only as an actor but also as a writer, singer and playwright.
Work began after local lama gurus performed a ritual to mark an auspicious moment by chanting mantras. Chauhan said the opening event was attended by Sikkim Film Board chairperson Tashi Tsering Bhutia, Cultural Board chairperson Sanjay Dilpali Rai, and representatives of the ADC and the Indian Army.
According to the director, the new installment will carry forward the story of characters Kafle, Phul, Dambar and Ikshya from the previous film while exploring further dimensions of love, life and human emotion. The film is also planned to be shot in Darjeeling, Sikkim and Delhi besides Nepal.
Produced by Artmandu, the film is being written and directed by Chauhan himself. 'Wool Sweater' was released last year.
