Blood shortage hits Hetauda as no donation drives held during Dashain break
A blood shortage has occurred in Hetauda due to the Dashain holidays.
Nepal Red Cross Society Hetauda says the shortage occurred because various organizations did not run blood donation programs during the break. In normal times, blood collection takes place through such programs organized by these organizations.
Collection dropped because these programs were not held during the Dashain holidays. Khabarhub, Ratopati and Thahakhabar have published this news.
Blood supply in Hetauda remains affected until donation programs resume. The sources do not specify which blood group is in how much shortage.
