PM Balen Shah: Land administration service to reach all local units within a month

Prime Minister Balen Shah has said preparations are underway to operate land administration services from all local levels across the country within the coming month.

He shared the information on Monday morning in a post on the social media platform Facebook.

According to the prime minister, local levels will now be able to fully exercise the authority granted to them by the constitution and the law in land administration.

At present, such services are being delivered from only a limited number of local levels.

Once the new arrangement is fully implemented, citizens will be able to access land-related services from their own rural municipality or municipality.

The government is carrying this work forward as part of its plan to transfer land administration authority to the local levels.
