6 Indian tourists trapped by snowfall in Upper Dolpa without permit, rescue delayed

Six Indian tourists who reached Upper Dolpa have been trapped in the Himalayan region due to snowfall. Their rescue is being delayed.
They had not obtained the necessary administrative permission. They had also left the regular trekking route designated for tourists before reaching Upper Dolpa. They got stranded in the Himalayan region after snowfall began.
Tourists are required to obtain administrative permission to visit Upper Dolpa and are also instructed not to leave the regular trekking route. Media reports say these tourists did not comply with either requirement.
Due to the effect of the westerly wind, snowfall is currently occurring in some high Himalayan areas. The rescue operation for the tourists has not been completed yet.
