Syangja voter count settles at 249,000 after 2,572 names removed

The District Election Office, Syangja, has removed the names of 2,572 voters from the voter roll.

Under the voter roll update program completed by the office in Asoj, those voters' names were removed on grounds including death.

After the update, the number of voters in Syangja district now stands at 249,000.
