Prithvi Highway's Malekhu-Mugling section to close for a few hours today

Vehicle movement on the Malekhu-Mugling section of the Prithvi Highway will be closed for a few hours today. The road is being closed because the walkway section (girder) of an under-construction overhead bridge needs to be installed at Majhimtar in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-9, Dhading.

The District Administration Office, Dhading, has issued a notice on the matter. According to Sachendra Mishra, information officer of the western section of the Nagdhunga-Mugling Road Project, the road is being closed for the girder-placement work.

Media reports differ on how long the road will stay closed, with some citing three hours and others four hours. According to Imagekhabar, the road will be closed from 11 am.

The administration has issued a notice asking passengers and vehicle drivers travelling through this section of the Prithvi Highway to plan their journeys with the designated closure time in mind.
