Flood, landslide kill 6 in Myagdi, 3 missing

Six people have died and three are missing in floods and landslides caused by incessant rainfall in Myagdi.

According to the District Administration Office, Myagdi's update as of 6pm Sunday, four bodies have been recovered in Annapurna Rural Municipality and two in Malika Rural Municipality.

At least 14 people have died in floods and landslides across Gandaki Province following three days of continuous heavy rainfall, while hundreds of people have been affected.

Flooding in the Kali Gandaki River on Sunday has also blocked the Mid-Hill Highway, which connects Parbat, Baglung, Myagdi and Mustang to the national road network, at several points.
