All vehicles to ply Prithvi Highway from 1pm today

All types of vehicles are set to operate via the Prithvi Highway from 1pm on Wednesday.

According to the District Administration Office, Dhading, preparations are underway to clear obstructions, including landslides, at Krishnabhir, Parewabhir and Bangemod areas in Dhading and bring the road back into operation.

The office said that if no further landslides occur and no other obstructions appear on the road, all vehicles plying the highway will be fully operational from 1pm.

Traffic on the Prithvi Highway had been obstructed as floods and landslides affected major highways and road sections across the country.
