Government preparing to amend laws to remove obstacles to development works

The government says it is preparing necessary amendments to the law to resolve problems seen in development works.

A discussion was held on Wednesday between Prime Minister Balen Shah and House of Representatives lawmakers with technical backgrounds at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar. The minister for infrastructure development also took part in the discussion.

During the discussion, the lawmakers suggested that infrastructure construction should proceed in three shifts, round the clock.
