Parliamentary hearing committee begins discussion on complaints against 13 ambassador nominees

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has begun discussing the complaints filed against 13 individuals nominated as ambassadors to various countries. Complaints have been filed against every one of the nominated ambassadors.

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee of the Federal Parliament had today set an agenda to call the complainants to the committee for discussion.

On the complaint against Giri Bahadur Sunar, nominated as ambassador to Saudi Arabia, the committee has decided to seek necessary details. The committee has asked the Immigration Office at Tribhuvan International Airport for facts on whether Sunar had been deported in the past.
