Ethics, integrity and honesty are the first standard for professional success: PM Shah

Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that ethics, integrity and honesty are the first standard required for any professional success. He said this while addressing the passing-out ceremony of the 184th batch of Police Inspector Basic Training held at the National Police Academy, Maharajgunj.

This was Shah's first appearance at a police event since becoming prime minister. He directed the newly inducted police inspectors not to compromise on ethics and integrity.

"I urge you to discharge your duties impartially, abiding by the constitution and prevailing laws and regulations, without succumbing to any undue pressure or influence," PM Shah said. He added that accountability toward one's responsibilities was also an important aspect.

Trainee Police Inspector Chop Bahadur Denga topped both categories of the Police Inspector Basic Training, finishing first in the 1st–184th batch of police inspectors.
