Physical progress of Tanahu Hydropower Project reaches 78 percent

The 140-megawatt Tanahu Hydropower Project under construction in Tanahu has completed 78 percent of its work.
The project is being built at Jhaputar in Rishing Rural Municipality-1 of Tanahu. Construction is being carried out under three packages, and the project's overall progress of 78 percent reflects the combined physical progress of all three packages.
The 140-megawatt project is one of the country's major hydropower projects currently under construction. The remaining 22 percent of the work is yet to be completed.
