Cloudy skies with light rain in Karnali, Sudurpashchim; clear weather in Tarai

According to the department, a partial influence of monsoon winds continues alongside westerly winds across the country. Today, the sky will generally remain cloudy in Karnali and Sudurpashchim, while tomorrow the mountainous regions of these provinces will be cloudy. The rest of the mountainous and hilly regions will be partly cloudy, while the weather in the Tarai will be mostly clear. The department issued this forecast at 6 pm on Asoj 25.

The department said there is no likelihood of rain in the six major cities. Kathmandu's temperature is expected to be 14 degrees Celsius, Pokhara's 16, and Birendranagar's 15 degrees Celsius. Biratnagar, Janakpur and Nepalgunj will see temperatures of 20 degrees Celsius, with mostly clear weather in these three cities. Kathmandu, Pokhara and Birendranagar are forecast to be partly cloudy.
