44 days after flood swept away road, tuin cable crossing linking Rasuwa and Nuwakot put into operation

A tuin (cable crossing) connecting Rasuwa and Nuwakot has been put into operation, 44 days after the Bhotekoshi flood disrupted the road network.
The tuin began operating from today, linking Pairebensi in Rasuwa's Uttargaya Rural Municipality with Shantibazar in Kispang Rural Municipality of Nuwakot. It has been introduced to ease the movement of local residents of Uttargaya Rural Municipality.
The flood that struck the Bhotekoshi river on Bhadau 10 had disrupted the road network in this area. Since then, local residents had been facing difficulties in travel.
