Karnali CM Shahi discloses assets: 10 tola gold, Rs200,000 in bank, Rs1.8 million debt

Karnali Province Chief Minister Mangal Bahadur Shahi has made public his property details 63 days after taking office.

According to the public disclosure, Chief Minister Shahi's family owns 10 tola of gold and 10 tola of silver. The disclosure states that he has savings of 200,000 rupees in the bank.

The disclosure also states that Chief Minister Shahi has a loan of 1.8 million rupees in his name. It further shows that his family owns seven head of cattle.

Chief Minister Shahi made this disclosure public nearly two months after taking office.
