Foreign Minister Khanal meets Sri Lankan counterpart Herath in New York

Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal held talks with Sri Lanka's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijitha Herath.

Foreign Minister Khanal is in New York, United States, to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting with Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Herath took place while he was in New York.

Sri Lankan Minister Herath also holds responsibility for the Ministry of Foreign Employment and Tourism in addition to foreign affairs.

During the General Assembly, Foreign Minister Khanal has been holding talks with counterparts from various countries. Representatives of member states are taking part in the UN General Assembly.
