Inmate who fled Central Jail in human trafficking case arrested

Police have arrested an inmate who had escaped from Jagannathdewal Central Jail in a human trafficking and transportation case.

The person arrested is Chandra Damai KC, a resident of Melamchi Municipality-6, Sindhupalchok. He was an inmate held at the Central Jail in connection with a human trafficking and transportation case.

He had fled Jagannathdewal Central Jail during the unrest. After escaping, he had been sought by police.

KC was arrested as police continue efforts to apprehend inmates who fled various jails during the unrest.
