Deuba group's convention to be held at Khula Manch, Sindhupalchok convention on 16th

The group led by Nepali Congress's former president Sher Bahadur Deuba will hold its separate 15th general convention at Khula Manch in Kathmandu from Mangsir 21 to 23.
Amrit Karki, member secretary of the central election committee formed by the group, said Khula Manch has already been booked. Along with Khula Manch, the National Assembly hall and Bhrikutimandap have also been booked.
The inaugural and closing sessions, along with the voting to select central members, will be held at Khula Manch itself. Voting for central office-bearers, however, will take place at the National Assembly hall.
Meanwhile, the group's Sindhupalchok district convention will be held on Kartik 16. The convention will be held in Barhabise, the hometown of former minister Mohan Bahadur Basnet, and will be inaugurated by Basnet himself. Basnet has called on leaders and cadres close to him to attend the convention.
