Nepal to strongly raise climate justice and mountain protection at COP-31: Minister Chaudhary

Minister for Agriculture, Forests and Environment Geeta Chaudhary has said Nepal will strongly raise the issues of climate justice, adequate financial support, and mountain protection at the upcoming COP-31 conference.

Minister Chaudhary said this in Kathmandu on Kattik 17. According to her, Nepal will prioritize climate justice along with adequate financial support for countries affected by climate change at the conference.

Minister Chaudhary said mountain protection will also be one of Nepal's key agendas.

The minister made this statement regarding the main issues Nepal will raise at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP-31.
