Free AI training targeting 2,000 youths draws over 68,000 applications

A free artificial intelligence (AI) training programme to be run for 2,000 youths has received more than 68,000 applications. The training is being organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment.

According to the organizing institution, more than 42,000 applications were received in the first phase. After applications were reopened, more than 26,500 additional applications were received.

The ministry said that since the number of applications far exceeded the target, it has decided to include all aspiring youths who applied in the training.

The training was initially announced for only 2,000 people.
