Produce skilled manpower in partnership with private sector: Minister Yadav

Minister for Youth, Labor and Employment Ramji Yadav has said skilled manpower should be prepared according to market demand in coordination with the private sector and linked to employment.
He expressed this view while inaugurating a skill-based training center run by Everest Multiskill Private Limited in Bhaktapur on Sunday.
According to him, there is demand for skilled workers in industry, construction, tourism, agriculture, information technology and the service sector.
Minister Yadav said skill development must be prioritized to end the situation where youths cannot find work and employers cannot find skilled workers.
He urged employers and industrialists to cooperate with training centers, give trainees practical experience, and employ youths who have acquired skills.
He said cooperation among the government, private sector, training institutions and local levels is necessary to make the skill development program effective.
