Vinicius apologises after red card, risks missing El Clasico

Real Madrid's Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior has apologised to the team and fans on social media after receiving a red card.
Real Madrid beat Villarreal 1-0 in a La Liga match at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday. Vinicius, who came on in the 52nd minute, appeared to have scored a goal shortly after.
However, following a request from the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), referee Isidro Diaz de Mera reviewed the incident and found that Vinicius had pulled the hair of opposition player Nathan Saliba just before the goal. The goal was therefore disallowed, and Vinicius was shown a red card just 20 minutes after coming on.
Due to the disciplinary committee's decision, he is likely to miss the El Clasico against Barcelona in two weeks.
