Finance Minister Wagle assures families of flood-hit customs staff: 'You are not alone'

Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has urged the families of customs employees who lost their lives or remain missing in the Bhotekoshi-Rasuwa flood not to feel alone in this time of grief.

Addressing the families of the flood-affected customs employees, Finance Minister Wagle offered reassurance, saying, "You are not alone." The devastating flood that struck Bhotekoshi in Rasuwa had also affected employees working at the customs office there. Some of them have lost their lives, while others remain missing.

The finance minister offered this assurance to the relatives of the employees who lost family members or whose family members are missing due to the flood, at a time when they are in distress. The Department of Customs falls under the Ministry of Finance.

The flood in Bhotekoshi has caused major loss of life and property. Rescue and search operations are continuing in the affected area.
