Trump warns of 'very harsh' action against Iran if linked to FlyDubai plane attack

US President Donald Trump has warned that Iran will face "very harsh" action if it is confirmed that Iran was involved in the attack on a FlyDubai flight that had taken off from Dubai for Israel's Tel Aviv.

The pilot was attacked inside the cockpit of the aircraft. According to Nepal Live, the attack was carried out by the plane's co-pilot. Trump said that if Iran's involvement is confirmed, very harsh military action will be taken against Iran.

Many questions remain unanswered about the actual cause of the apparent hijacking and attack attempt on FlyDubai flight number FZ1073.
