Rastra Bank deputy director Vinita Gurung crowned Mrs Nepal World 2026

Nepal Rastra Bank Deputy Director Vinita Gurung has won the top title of Whisper Mrs Nepal World 2026. Ribbon Entertainment Pvt Ltd organised the sixth edition of the pageant on Saturday night at the Nepal Police Club in Exhibition Road, Kathmandu, where she came out ahead of 21 other contestants.

Gurung, who competed as contestant number 16, is from Diktel, Khotang, and is also an advocate. Along with the title, she received a scooter and will represent Nepal at the international Mrs World pageant for married women held in the United States. She also won the Best Personality sub-title.

Mrs World 2025 winner Chanita Sridaket Krethorn, actor Rajesh Hamal, actress and director Rekha Thapa, and Mrs Nepal World 2025 winner Raksha Pant, among others, crowned and sashed her.

Neha Gupta was named first runner-up, Jyoti Lamichhane second runner-up and Sagun Khanal third runner-up. Neha Gupta also received the Management's Choice title, and Sagun Khanal received the Best Physique title. Shilpa Neupane Maharjan was named Mrs Nepal International, Christina Gyawali won Mrs Nepal Cosmo, and Richa Sharma won Ms Nepal International.
