According to BBC News Persian, the Houthis made the claim on Saturday. Aramco is Saudi Arabia's largest oil company.
According to the Houthi rebels, the attack was a response to Saudi Arabia's strikes on Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, and other areas.
With this incident, tensions between the Houthi rebels of Yemen and Saudi Arabia have flared up again. Concern has also been expressed that oil prices could rise following the attack.
